wood planters at haunt pdx
One of my favorite things to do when visiting a different city is to spot little mini-trends that are different from what I’d see in my own town. Over the past week, I’ve noticed these beautiful planters popping up in shop windows. I’d never seen them in New York before, so I did a little research and found them online at Portland favorite, . Made by Brandon and Laura Irwin Flores, these faceted reclaimed-wood planters are handmade, so no two are exactly alike. I’ve primarily seen them with succulents inside, but they’d also be great for tiny cut-flower arrangements, if you insert a little vase or line the opening with plastic so it can hold water. I’m always looking for new ways to keep plants around the house, so one of these might be making the trip back east with me next month. If you want to pick up a planter, you can grab one at for $65. xo, grace
Oooo Great find, these are fabulous fun! I love the soft, but sturdy succulents paired with this edgy planter. I like that no two are alike!
these planters reminded me of one that i purchased at the renegade craft fair in brooklyn. their etsy shop says they are based out of greenpoint!
Pretty sweet look, thought it was ceramic at first glance. Love the playful choices of plants…a little height and fill go a long way. Matti
these are gorgeous and that flower arrangement is so inspiring, i love the colors!
Thanks, Grace! We are so excited that you wrote about our planters! If you are in Portland, please visit our shop!
