DIY Color Pigment Poster

by Caitlin Kelch

As the days shorten, we’re all likely to be adjusting to less light, less sun and sadly, less color. While we appreciate the deep greys and golden leaves that Autumn brings, we’re still a sucker for a huge color punch – especially in the warm indoors in the middle of winter.
For this colorful DIY, we’re taking our inspiration from the Hindu tradition of Holi. Celebrated primarily in India and Nepal in mid-March, Holi is the Hindu celebration of spring. Although the impetus for Holi is rooted in Hindu tradition and mythology, the festivities involved for this particular holiday are one of the very reasons for its awesomeness.
