2017 Gift Guide: Trimming + Ornaments

by Caitlin Kelch

Decorating for the holidays is an instant pick-me-up during the sometimes overwhelming holiday season. My daughter, Viola, always inspires me to embrace an over-the-top visual celebration of the season — where anything and everything goes. We’ve made this DIY menorah (click here for more Hanukkah ideas), gathered greens from our yard for door hangers for neighbors & friends, and scoured thrift stores for ornaments for our tree — including a Snoopy ornament or two. Diving into the holiday spirit and watching it take hold of my loved ones and community of neighbors always makes me smile. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite holiday trimmings, from ornaments and tree skirts to garlands and swag. Enjoy the season, and happy decorating! –Caitlin
