A Pink Castle Escape + Best of the Web

by Grace Bonney

I don’t know about you, but I could use a little escape this week. I’m working on a daunting makeover project at a , and right now I feel a bit in over my head. If this project was an HGTV show, we’d be deep in the “find a bunch of dead rats and scary abandoned bathrooms” stage. I’m trying to take deep breaths and remember that we’ll get through this stage, but I need a little digital refresher just to clear my mind and keep my energy high. So this dreamy (and very ) pink castle in Scotland will do just the trick. I came across this amazing destination ( in Aberdeenshire) on photographer Ramona’s Instagram feed called @ and it helped me take a much needed mental getaway. If you could use a little digital trip, too, check out Ramona’s beautiful British travel photography . Until Monday, have a safe and happy weekend — and enjoy our favorite stories from around the web below! xo, Grace
