Paintings by Stefanie Thiele + Best of the Web

by Grace Bonney

It feels like the entire east coast is covered in a thick blanket of snow, so I’m running toward color with open arms this week. And these paintings by  are exactly what I needed. Her incredible swoops and swirls of rainbow color (especially with accents of neon yellow and pink) are a much needed wake-up call during the mega-white-out winter we’re having. Stefanie’s paintings use collage elements as well and have such a beautiful mix of texture and movement. You can check out more of her work below, on , and at . Until Monday, have a safe, happy and warm* weekend. xo, Grace
